Excellent app, does what it says and offline too, purchased all 3.

Finally 😁 An app' created by someone who understands that what's needed, first and foremost is something that leads with a picture of each tree - and the name of the tree - instead of pictures of buds and leaves and cones and bark (don't worry, it has those as well). This app' is adequate, helpful and informative for the beginner it tells you exactly what you want to know - what tree you're looking at !

Hell of a lot of trees missing

Ryan Kearney

Very simple app covering most of the trees that you're likely to see in Britain. User interface is very simple with plenty of good photographs . It is not as powerful as some other apps but is a delight to use. Bargain at 69p

Helps me when I'm out to identify trees whether it's leaves or seeds etc. Really goid

Samantha Park

Unable to zoom in to pictures see detail. Paid for this app as highest ranked but this really detracts from its value imho.

Great app.

Wide selection of trees! Other apps I've tried focus only on 'British' trees, meaning ones that have been around for thousands of years in Britain (with the odd exception like sycamore). This app has many of the trees you are likely to come across, regardless of how recently they have arrived - just what I was after!

Simple and informative and pretty comprehensive.

An excellent assistant in the field, in the nursery or simply for reference. The quiz is good to sharpen those identifying skills. Here in NZ are many European trees in parks that we are no longer taught to identify. Our own indigenous trees take precedence, as indeed they should.
